Entrepreneurs and business owners are people I’ve admired all my life. As a kid, I’d see people who did everything from sell hotdogs from a push cart on the street to those who owned manufacturing plants and lived in big houses.
I heard of people named Henry Ford and Conrad Hilton in those days. Now there’s Mark Cuban, Oprah Winfrey and Jeff Bezos. I read about how they all built their businesses and learned that there are hundreds more who don’t make the headlines.
Along the way I built a few businesses of my own. That gave me a greater-than-ever appreciation for what it takes, how tough it can be, and how rewarding it can be.
